Getting the most from ClearConcept

A suggested study rhythm that builds lasting knowledge

ClearConcept is built around a simple loop: read a point, rate your confidence, review your weak spots. Here's how to use it effectively as part of a broader study routine.

The daily routine (20–30 mins)

  1. Open the Review queue first — work through any weak points from previous sessions before adding new ones
  2. Then move to your current topic in your course map. Read 5–10 new learning points
  3. Rate each one honestly — 'got it' only when you could explain it to someone else without looking
  4. Close the app. Write a 3-sentence summary of what you just studied, from memory
  5. Return tomorrow and check your review queue before starting anything new

Honesty with confidence ratings is everything. If you rate a point as 'got it' when you're only vaguely familiar with it, your review queue won't protect you in the exam.

Common mistakes to avoid

  • Reading learning points passively without pausing to check understanding
  • Skipping the rating step — this is the most important part of each session
  • Only reviewing new material and never returning to old topics
  • Ignoring the 'weak' queue because the points feel hard
  • Trying to cover too many points in one session — depth beats speed

Weekly rhythm

Use weekday sessions for new content and reviewing weak points. Reserve one weekend session per week for a full topic recap — go back to an earlier section and test yourself from scratch without reading any learning points first. This is the most powerful thing you can do to consolidate knowledge.
