A verb expressing an action or event that involves change or movement. Dynamic verbs can occur in progressive aspect and in imperative mood.

In Nike's famous 'Just Do It' slogan, 'do' is a dynamic verb chosen deliberately because it implies action and change — motivating consumers to move rather than remain passive.
