Mode
The value that occurs with the highest frequency in a dataset. For grouped data, the modal class is the class with the highest frequency.
Real World
Primark's buying team tracks the modal shoe size sold in each store — typically a size 6 for women — so they can stock the most popular sizes in greater quantities.
Exam Focus
For grouped data, state the modal class with both boundaries — do not give a single value, as continuous data has no exact mode.
