Definition
A model by Tannenbaum and Schmidt showing a spectrum of leadership styles from boss-centred (autocratic) to subordinate-centred (laissez-faire). The leader can move along the continuum depending on context, task, and team capability. Factors influencing position include: urgency of decision, team experience, trust, and business culture.
